GOJIRA

Formados en 1996 en Bayonne (Francia), cuenta en la actualidad con la siguiente formación: Joe Duplantier (voces y guitarras), Christian Andreu (guitarras), Jean-Michel Labadie (bajo) y Mario Duplantier (batería).

Tras publicar cuatro demos bajo el nombre de godzilla,»victim»(1996),»possessed»(1997) “Saturate” (1999) y “Wisdom Comes” (2000), publicaron su primer álbum en el mismo 2000: “Terra Incognita”. Poquito a poco, fuero consiguiendo un nombre en la escena underground. Su siguiente trabajo fue publicado tres años más tarde, “The Link”(2003). Tras publicar este trabajo, empezaron una extensa gira, recogida en el DVD y en el álbum en directo “The Link Live”, en el que demuestran su buen hacer con una simbiosis perfecta entre fans y grupo que se nota de lejos. Una ejecución de los temas milimétricamente procesados.

El año 2005 publicaron su tercer larga duración,“From Mars To Sirius” que sirvió para confirmar que Gojira había dejado de ser un engendro underground que ha saltado a la escena mundial.

En 2008 sacan a la luz su cuarto trabajo de estudio llamado «The Way Of All Flesh», una autentica apisonadora de death metal progresivo.

En 2012 salió a la luz su quinto álbum titulado «L’Enfant Sauvage», gracias al cual su lista de seguidores sigue aumentando.
